As executive chef for the 180-room Seward Windsong Lodge in Seward, Alaska, Jason Kuehl oversees food operations for the Resurrection Roadhouse Restaurant and the Goliath Bar & Grill. He is also responsible for all catering functions, and facilitates the culinary cuisine at Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge—preparing pastries, ordering fine Alaska seafood and coordinating delivery to the remote island lodge.
In the summer of 2016, Seward Windsong Lodge was pleased to welcome Executive Chef Jason Kuehl as part of their culinary team. Chef Kuehl was Sous Chef at Seward Windsong Lodge during the 2014 and 2015 seasons, and left Alaska again briefly during the winter of 2015-2016 for a position in Robbinsdale, MN. Chef Jason has also had experience in Haleiwa, Hawaii, where he was the Breakfast Chef for Kono’s Restaurant for the 2014-2015 winter season. Between 2012 and 2014, he held numerous culinary positions in Minnesota, but we are pleased to have him call Alaska his home now! Jason received his AAS Degree in Culinary Arts from South Central College in North Mankato, MN.
