Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge is located on beautiful and remote Fox Island and your overnight adventure begins with a 45-minute Kenai Fjords
Tours wildlife and glacier cruise boat ride out of Seward
Stroll down the beach after arrival and listen to the click-clack of ocean tide-smoothed rocks beneath your feet. Visit the Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge for an introductory lunch and take in the awe-inspiring view provided by immense two-story windows looking out across gorgeous Halibut Cove, where sea lions and humpback whales occasionally make surprise visits.
Then make your way to one of eight clean and spacious private cabins. Your waterfront guest cabin is heated, and comfortably accommodates a family of four adults. Lighting is powered by solar and wind generators, but you won’t find a telephone, television or radio to interrupt this peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.
Fox Island is a world away from the ordinary. Marine wildlife is abundant, and guests commonly see Stellar sea lions, otters, whales, Dall's porpoise, and an endless variety of seabirds that include eagles, puffins, cormorants, and murres. There are many things to do, either on your own or with a guide, and your time on Fox Island can be as relaxing or adventurous as you desire.
The Wilderness Lodge is your special place to gather, share meals or relax in the lounge with a good book and glass of wine. Guests come here to enjoy innovative meals, included in your visit, that are infused with seasonal ingredients found in Alaska
and around the Pacific Northwest.
